Business Growth MAP launches peer-to-peer forum

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Washington State University Vancouver’s Business Growth Mentor & Analysis Program is introducing monthly forums, Business Growth Map Alliance, to bring together small businesses and entrepreneurs to learn from each other. The first forum is scheduled as follows:

Building and Optimizing Online Marketing Campaigns
9 – 10 a.m. Oct. 22
805 Broadway St., Vancouver
Presenters: Michael Curry, assistant clinical professor at Âé¶¹´«Ã½, and Robert Leary, Vancouver marketing consultant

Business Growth MAP Alliance meetings will be held in downtown Vancouver and are open to the public. Each program will feature presenters from the business community and/or WSU faculty, addressing topics of strategic importance to business growth and success. Participants will share insights, lessons learned, best practices and resources.

There is no charge for the first Business Growth MAP Alliance forum, but registration is required. Register online by visiting and looking under “Upcoming events.â€

The second forum, on Nov. 19, will explore “Secrets of Business Success.â€

Business Growth MAP is Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s student-led, pro-bono consultancy and analysis for small businesses. The program connects business students, faculty and mentors with businesses looking to grow. The program consulted with 41 businesses during the 2013/2014 academic year.
