Racial justice educator to speak at 麻豆传媒

VANCOUVER, Wash. 鈥 Debby Irving, a racial justice educator and author of the book 鈥淲aking Up White,鈥 will speak at Washington State University Vancouver on Feb. 27. Her talk, titled 鈥淚鈥檓 a Good Person, Isn鈥檛 That Enough?鈥 will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110. It is free and open to the public.

Irving鈥檚 discussion is designed to help people shift their attitude from 鈥渇ixing鈥 and 鈥渉elping鈥 those believed to be inferior, to focusing on internalized white superiority and its role in perpetuating racism at the individual, interpersonal, institutional and cultural levels.
