VANCOUVER, Wash. 鈥 Hari Kondabolu, a Brooklyn-based comedian, actor and podcast host known for comedy on such subjects as race, identity and inequity, will speak as part of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Marquee Diversity Series. The university will present 鈥淎n Evening with Hari Kondabolu鈥 at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 in Dengerink Auditorium.

Kondabolu has been praised by the New York Times as 鈥渙ne of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today.鈥 His many performances include appearances with 鈥淛immy Kimmel Live,鈥 Comedy Central鈥檚 鈥淟ive at Gotham,鈥 the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He released his debut stand-up album, 鈥淲aiting for 2042鈥 in 2014 and his second album, 鈥淢ainstream American Comic,鈥 in 2016. He is currently developing a pilot and documentary with TruTV.
