VANCOUVER, Wash. 鈥 Do you know how and when you will leave your business? Do you have a succession plan in place to which all parties agree?
鈥淓xit Stage Left: It鈥檚 Never Too Soon to Plan Your (Orderly) Exit鈥 is the topic of Washington State University Vancouver鈥檚 next Business Growth MAP Alliance forum. Paris Powell, valuation expert and succession planning leader at Perkins & Co. in Portland, will provide an overview of succession planning along with action items to help you move your plan forward.
The forum will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. July 15 in Burgerville鈥檚 CRCL (Center for Responsible Community Leadership) at 1602 W. Main St. in downtown Vancouver.
Succession planning is at the top of many entrepreneurs鈥 list of concerns, yet little progress is made, in part because so many find the subject unsettling. Powell guides business owners through exit and succession planning. She provides valuation services for business succession, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning.
The Business Growth MAP Alliance brings together small businesses and entrepreneurs to learn from each other, industry experts and 麻豆传媒 faculty.
