Â鶹´«Ã½ takes the well-being of students seriously and the university has processes in place when a student is missing. If anyone has reason to believe that a Â鶹´«Ã½ student is missing, they should immediately call 911 and report the concern to the local police department. After reporting the person missing, Â鶹´«Ã½ PD should be notified of the missing person report and which law enforcement agency is the investigating police agency. Â鶹´«Ã½ PD will assist the investigating agency when needed.
Â鶹´«Ã½ does not currently have on-campus housing. Because of this, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Police Department will not be the originating police agency taking a report of a missing student. The Â鶹´«Ã½ Police Department will participate in any law enforcement requests for assistance concerning a WSU missing student.
