National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, celebrates the rich and diverse cultures of people with roots in the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, South America and Spain.
The month commemorates important historic events, including the independence days of several Latin American countries and DÃa de la Raza, recognized across many nations under different names honoring cultural heritage and Indigenous peoples.
