Established in 1987, Women’s History Month honors the achievements, resilience and lasting impact of women across all areas of society. The month begins with National Women of Color Day (March 1) and includes International Women’s Day (March 8), recognizing the diverse experiences and voices of all women throughout history and today.
Women’s History Month serves as a reminder of the important roles all women continue to play in building strong, vibrant communities.
At Â鶹´«Ã½, we celebrate the contributions of all women in every field—including education, science, technology, medicine, the arts, literature, public service and community leadership. These contributions have shaped the campus, the nation, and the world.
